Quick glimpse of problem statements

  1. Build an in-house “backtesting service” for the quant analysts to easily backtest various strategies and hypotheses at the click of a button
  2. Work deeply with the quant team to create the “strategy and signalling service”. You’d be enabling an input-output like the one you see here — https://chartink.com/screener/15-minute-stock-breakouts
  3. Build and maintain the “historical data database service” that gets used as a single source of data truth across the engineering org

Desired strong hands-on experience

  1. Database designing using RDBMS like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MSSQL
  2. Framework led Backend development using Python, NodeJS, or Golang
  3. Applied data structures and algorithms
  4. Good understanding of —
    1. Software Development Lifecycle
    2. Version control using Git
    3. Shell scripting
